Nefes is a portable communicable disease biomarker analyser that has been optimised for use in developing counties in post-natural disaster environments. This product is designed to assist in reducing the time between diseases being contracted and being diagnosed.
Nefes uses breath analysis technology to detect distinctive biomarkers in the breath to diagnose a range of infectious disease. Using this technology reduces the need for invasive procedures to be carried out, reducing the risk of infection and increasing the speed and delivery of disease outbreak control. The data the device collects can be further analysed by being connected to a computer.
