An Investigation into the Footwear Difficulties Experienced by Cerebral Palsy Teenagers
Final Year Project
ATHLETIC NIKE TRAINERS, THAT HAVE A SIMPLE EASE OF ENTRY FEATURE AND FASTENING MECHANISM TO ENABLE USERS TO INDEPENDENTLY PUT THEIR SHOES ON.
Nike Elevate is a new range of running trainers with a collapsible heel counter enabling users to easily and quickly put their shoes on. Air technology is used to tighten the shoe to your foot’s exact shape.
This shoe is designed for teenagers with cerebral palsy, allowing independence for an everyday task. The storyboard shows that you insert your foot into the shoe, pull up the heel tab, and pump the tab twice to tighten. To remove your trainers, press the valve at the front to release the air and pull down the heel tab.
